TPU film manufacturer sports shoe upper seamless fitting process

TPU film plays a key role in the seamless fit process of sports shoe uppers. This thermoplastic polyurethane film has excellent elasticity, wear resistance and bonding strength, and is especially suitable for seam-free processing of sports shoe uppers.

In terms of the process flow, the TPU film needs to be accurately cut into the required shape first, and then placed between the upper materials through a hot pressing process. Under specific temperature and pressure, the adhesive film melts and penetrates into the fabric fibers, and forms a strong chemical bond after cooling. This technology replaces traditional needle and thread stitching to achieve seamless connection of the upper.

This technology has significant advantages. On the one hand, it eliminates friction points caused by stitching and improves wearing comfort. ； On the other hand, it enhances the waterproof performance and overall aesthetics of the upper. At the same time, the seamless structure reduces material overlap and helps reduce the weight of the shoe body.

In actual operation, the temperature control is usually maintained between 120 and 150 degrees Celsius, and the pressure parameters are adjusted according to the material thickness. The thickness of the TPU film is generally in the range of 0.05 mm to 0.15 mm, which needs to be matched according to the density and strength of the upper material.

This process is widely used in the production of high-end running shoes and basketball shoes. It can meet the comprehensive needs of modern sports shoes for lightweight, durability and design, and represents an important development direction of shoe material processing technology.
