thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer（TPU) is an anbm type block copolymer. there are urethane groups and polyether groups in tpu. carbamate groups have high cohesive energy and come together to form hard segments, while polyester or polyether groups come together to form soft segments. the hard and soft segments are partially incompatible, forming microphase-separated structures that are separated and connected to each other.
